Digital sheet music management for orchestras and ensembles
Sheet music management that grows with your orchestra
Orchestras and ensembles have special requirements for sheet music management: large collections, many different parts per piece, and dozens of musicians who need to get to the right sheet music quickly. Notenarchiv was developed for exactly that.
Manage large collections with confidence
Whether a symphony orchestra with thousands of works or a chamber ensemble with a growing library – the real-time search finds every piece instantly. Filter by composer, arranger, publisher or category. Infinite scroll ensures you don’t lose the overview even with very large collections.
Assign parts automatically
An orchestral piece quickly has 20 or more individual parts. The AI instrument recognition analyses uploaded PDFs and automatically assigns each part to the right instrument. What used to be manual work, the AI does in seconds.
Every musician sees only their own parts
Your musicians set in their profile which instruments they play. From then on Notenarchiv shows only the relevant parts – when browsing, in the detail view and on download. The oboist sees the oboe part, the horn player the horn part – without long searching.
Organise programmes and folders digitally
Create books and sheet music collections for concert programmes, rehearsal plans or repertoire lists. Each book has its own code and a sequential numbering. Musicians can download all the parts for their instrument from a book with one click as a ZIP – perfect for preparing for the next concert season.
Share sheet music with guest musicians
Do guest soloists or deputies need quick access to the sheet music? Create a time-limited share link – valid for 14 days, no account needed. The recipients can view and download the sheet music.
PDF tools for orchestral material
Publishers often deliver orchestral material as collective PDFs or in A3 format. The built-in PDF tools solve this right in the browser:
- Split A3 into 2x A4 – for tablets and for printing
- Break collective PDFs into individual parts – automatically or manually
- Remove pages – delete blank or unnecessary pages directly
Several ensembles, one account
Do you play in several ensembles or lead different formations? With multi-organisation you switch between your ensembles after logging in – each organisation has its own sheet music, instruments and members.
